It was inevitable really…..

My mom’s grandfather was a carpenter and I grew up with a full wood working studio in our house. A kitchen table my dad made a few decades ago, still shows the level of his craftsmanship, even though woodworking happened after he got home from his medical practice.

As long as I can remember, my candy shop has always been rows of exotic woods ( or fabrics )!

Building new furniture and fine finish restoration started out as something I did in my spare time. Quickly I saw how it allowed me to control my supply chain and offer customization at great value and with quick turn around times for our full service clients!

When my dad got sick he started giving away alot of great tools.

After he passed away, I knew I had to start rebuilding and then expand his woodworking shop in honour of the passion and skills passed down.

Usually the restored vintage gems we gather land in our full service interior design projects or we make available to other interior designers and stylists.

As we travel across Ontario, our biggest challenge has been to walk away from furniture that was origionlly well made - sometimes in the 1800’s - that just needs proper restoration.

As we currently have 200+ finds in our inventory, we are tidying up and opening up access with periodic special releases to some of our one of a kind vintage furniture collection! Pickup in North Richmond Hill. Or delivery in the greater Toronto area.
